In collaboration with the British Museum, Zeesea has developed the Enchanting Egypt Eyeshadow Palette collection, which is the brand’s largest eyeshadow palette ever. This series is inspired by ancient Egyptian art, featuring 16 highly-pigmented shadows with a mix of mattes and metallics. It is perfect for creating a neutral eye look or a monochromatic look with jewel tones.

It is a palette for everyday, but you can use Duochrome shadow for making and spectacular look. In love and with the highest quality
This palette arrived swaddled in protective covering, and nothing could prepare me for the sheer beauty of the contents. The unicarton is a work of art, the palette compact is elegant, weighty and well-made, with a raised relief of the beautiful artwork featured throughout.
(Of note, you'll be wiping the outside of this to purge it of fingerprints, but for me, well worth it to have something so lovely.)
Inside, the mirror has a cling film to keep it print and dust free, and the pigments and shadows themselves have a slipcover that mimics the art that I'm sorely tempted to place on a matboard and frame it.
I have tried many different ways to photograph this, and the light reflects off of the metallics, shimmers and glitter so well that it's hard to capture just how beautiful it they are.
Now for the makeup. The pigments are rich and silky, gliding effortlessly on both bare skin and primed lids. The shimmers and metallics can be swept on sheer as is typical in Asian beauty, or pressed on the lids with fingertip for maximum impact. They layer and blend well.
The holographic glitter in this palette is sticky until it sets, and stays put with minimum fallout. I would only apply with fingertip.
If there's any fault at all with this, it's that this is not refillable with shadows, though someone crafty can likely turn it into a magnetic palette when done. I just may do so, as I love getting this one out to use over many of my other luxury palettes, so it may get used up quickly!
There are a few shades in here I'd love to get as singles as they've become my daily go-tos.
All-in-all a lovely collection that I'm looking forward to collecting more of.
