As I've said previously, pictures do not do these justice. The compact is so beautiful, weighty, and has a nice quality mirror.
As I've also said previously, the only fault I find with them is in it not being refillable. I'm wanting to get the compact that matches my Egyptian Cat palette next when it returns, as these are so lovely.
Now for the powder. It's very silky and fine with a surprising amount of coverage. It's not quite as transfer proof as shown, but it may be because I used a brush for application(I only use puffs when traveling, plus I don't see the ability to purchase replacement puffs, which is something I'd also like as I am constantly washing them after use.).
I also found it to play rather well with my other cosmetics not from this brand(I would try the bases if they had more of a range of olive foundation shades, as this powder was just dark enough to use in t-zone/under eye, and to balance out my complexion after the accidental use of my Summer foundation shade.). Used on bare skin, it took away the shine and didn't collect in fine lines or texture, and balanced out my skintone. Over concealer, it actually made my concealer stay put(which is impressive when you consider my under eye area doesn't like to keep it there even powdered), and not crease or pill up.
All-in-all a stunning product that I actually want to stock up on, so I hope they make these refillable, though if not, I will refill the empty with another face powder or even a nice blusher, and content myself with having all my powder cosmetics housed in such pretty compacts.
